Bud Simon is a prayer ministry trainer who equips churches to listen deeper, pray bolder, and minister with wisdom, humility, and dependence on the Holy Spirit.
Bud has helped train prayer teams for the Asbury Seminary Outpouring and has served churches by helping them develop healthy, Christ-centered prayer ministry.

Altar prayer ministry is the practice of praying intentionally with people who are responding to God. Whether someone is seeking encouragement, healing, freedom, wisdom, deeper surrender, or a fresh filling of the Holy Spirit, trained prayer ministers come alongside them in a way that is biblical, Spirit-led, and pastorally healthy.
While often associated with prayer at the front of a church service, during or directly after a service, altar prayer ministry is ultimately about helping people encounter the presence and work of God through attentive listening, compassionate care, and prayer offered in the name of Jesus.
This training is designed to help participants grow in confidence and wisdom as they minister to others through prayer.

Who is this training for?
Pastors, ministry leaders, prayer teams, small group leaders, youth, young adults, and anyone who wants to grow in prayer ministry.
Is food included?
Yes. Friday evening snacks are included. Saturday includes morning coffee and snacks, lunch, and afternoon coffee and refreshments.
When does the event end?
The event concludes Saturday afternoon before supper, allowing guests to travel home Saturday evening if desired.
Can youth attend?
Yes. Youth ages 13–17 are welcome to attend.
