As a believer God asks us to trust Him and obey Him. You will never
lose when you trust God. Nonetheless, that doesn’t mean obedience will
always be easy.
God hears your prayers and He knows all about the silent cries of your
heart. We can trust Him fully because He knows all about us and loves
us unconditionally. When we obey we can live a life of joy and be
deeply rooted in the Lord and confident in our eternal hope. “Where
the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom”. Our obedience is
actually part of our assurance that we truly know God.
You will know that you are trusting Him because there is a sense of
PEACE surrounding your life – a peace that passes all understanding.
Some decisions, while they may seem tough, are made effectively
because your mind and heart are focused not on what you want to do but
on what God wants you to do.
Friend there is no safer place to be than at the centre of God’s will.
So if you’ve been OBEYING the Lord, REJOICE – If you’ve been TRUSTING
in Him, REJOICE.
God says in Jeremiah 7:23 “Obey my voice, and I will be your God, and
you will be my people: and you will walk in all the ways which I
command you, that it may be well with you. In other words when you
choose to submit to him he will bless you.”
What are you facing today that could tempt you to disobey your loving
Heavenly Father? Choose to obey God, because that is the certain path
to hope and blessing for you today.
