New Unmarrieds Fellowship Group – THIS Wed. Mar. 27, 7-9pm
If you are 35 years of age or older and unmarried, you are invited to join the new Unmarrieds Fellowship Group at Chapel Ridge. This group is a place for single men and women to connect with one another in a time of fellowship and discussion, building friendships and community and discovering together the purpose God has for them in their time of singleness.
Our first event will be a Dessert Social held at Chapel Ridge on Wednesday March 27th from 7-9 pm. There will be coffee/tea and lots of yummy desserts! It will be a time to get to know one another and discuss everyone’s ideas for the group (for example, activities or outings to do together, topics or Bible studies we can go through).
Please email Kim Trimble (kim.trimble@live.com) or Chantal Le Saulnier (marie_chantal20@yahoo.ca) to RSVP to this event, or if you have any questions about the group.

Easter Services
Good Friday service at 10:30am. Eugene Zubryn will be speaking and the service will be followed by brunch including sandwiches and finger foods.
Easter Sunday services at 9am and 11am
We want everyone to feel welcome and excited to invite friends to share in the celebration of Easter Sunday as this will be a service that is sensitive to those who are seeking answers regarding faith. As a result, we will be offering 2 services on Easter Sunday (March 31) – 9am and 11am.
Nursery, Toddler Room and Junior Church will be offered at the 9am service.
Nursery and Toddler Room only will be offered at the 11am.

Mom Time – Sat. Apr. 6, 9-10am at Tim Hortons (6 Edgewater St at Hazeldean (connected to Wendy’s)
If you’re a mom with kids of any age at home, this is for you! If you’re a mom who wants to encourage and connect with younger moms, this is for you! As our church grows, we don’t always get to connect the names and faces of those we see each Sunday. Join me on the first Saturday of each month to just sit, chat and get to know other moms in our church community.

“Darkness to Light” Ladies Tea – Sat. May 4, 12 – 4pm at Chapel Ridge
Have you ever felt trapped in despair with seemingly no way out?  Can the Lord really help you?

Isaiah 50:10:  “Who among you walks in darkness, and has no light?   Let him trust in the name of the Lord, let him lean on his God.”

We have added a third speaker, Sue LaRue, who has an amazing testimony and will join Tracey Haw and Jane Houston, as they share how trusting and leaning on the Lord led them into His light.

Please RSVP by email to Jane Houston at jane.houston@hotmail.com, or Patricia Elsasser at p.l.elsasser1401@gmail.com.  Please let us know if you plan on bringing a friend with you.

We are in need of a lady to run the sound and video system for the tea. Prayer is needed! Please contact us if you are available or willing to learn how to do this.

Ottawa Easter Blood Drive
The 2024 Ottawa Easter Blood Drive is a way to encourage Christians to donate blood or plasma. Blood is a central concept in our Christian faith. We are especially mindful of it at Easter when we reflect on the suffering and death of our Saviour Jesus: “In him we have redemption through his blood” (Ephesians 1:7).
Jesus shed His blood for us, and now it is our turn, in appreciation of His sacrifice.
While 1 in 2 Canadians are eligible to donate, only 1 in 81 does. Book an appointment to donate at Canadian Blood Services donation sites (Carling Ave. for blood or Place d’Orleans for plasma) on March 23 to 30.
It’s easy to make your donation part of our team effort. Simply:
1. Sign in or create your donor account at the Partners for Life portal on the Canadian Blood Services website at https://myaccount.blood.ca/en or the Give Blood App.
2. In your account, click on “Join a team” to join by typing and selecting the Easter Blood Drive Team.
3. Book your appointment to donate blood or plasma during Holy Week or any time during 2024.
4. Donate once or as often as you are eligible.
Questions? Visit Easterblooddrive.ca or email us at info@easterblooddrive.ca.
The Easter Blood Drive is supported by Love Ottawa and CHRI Christian radio.

The Free Methodist Church in Canada has a new bishop-elect!
